“I saw it as another way to waste away my day and to be a major distraction, preventing me from getting the things done that I really needed to get done. But over time, Twitter has become a critical tool in my Social Networking efforts.” ~PitBullMarketing's Weblog
I have to say, I feel the same way. When I first heard of Twitter and Plurk I thought of them as a major waste of time. Then I started to get friends on my lists and people I work with joined in. Even other parents with kids on the autism spectrum were contacting me. Now I have many uses for Twitter and Plurk.
Twitter and Plurk so I don't feel so alone raising my boys. I get advice from other parents going through the same issues I'm dealing with. I also get help with my work. People who do the same thing I do are always posting their thoughts, and that gives me ideas.
I've made a lot of friends in the short time I've been on both Twitter and Plurk. We can discuss all kinds of things and it only takes a moment of my time. I can also post photos, videos and links to my latest articles.
Now I can't live without them. How do you feel about Twitter and Plurk? Do you use them? Which do you like better?
